Trigonometry
sin(x)
Sine — ratio of opposite to hypotenuse.
sin(30°) = 0.5
cos(x)
Cosine — ratio of adjacent to hypotenuse.
cos(60°) = 0.5
tan(x)
Tangent — ratio of opposite to adjacent.
tan(45°) = 1
deg / rad
Toggle between degree and radian input for all trig functions.
tap the "deg" button to switch
Logarithms
log(x)
Common logarithm — base 10. Requires positive input.
log(1000) = 3
ln(x)
Natural logarithm — base e. Requires positive input.
ln(e) = 1
Roots & Powers
√x
Square root. Non-negative input required.
√144 = 12
xʸ
Power — raise x to any exponent y.
2^10 = 1,024
x!
Factorial — product of all positive integers up to x. Max 170.
7! = 5,040
1/x
Reciprocal — wraps current value into 1÷(x).
1/x of 4 → 1÷(4) = 0.25
Constants
π
Pi — ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
π ≈ 3.14159265358979
e
Euler's number — base of the natural logarithm.
e ≈ 2.71828182845905
Degree vs Radian
Same function, different input units.
Tap the "deg" button to toggle between degree and radian mode. The label changes to "rad" and all trig functions interpret your input accordingly.
